No, our non-profit museum is free and open to the public. However, you can make a small contribution when you stop in if you would like!
There are several ways to have your artwork displayed at the Taube Museum of Art! We have a few open call exhibitions each year.
If you have questions about art appraisal or conservation, please contact the Midwest Art Conservation Center at 612-870-3120. Our staff is not trained in appraisal or conservation, but if you email us a picture of your piece in question, we may be able to tell you a little bit about the media of the artwork!
Yes, we take all sorts of donations at the Taube on an ‘as needed’ basis. Please feel free to call us if you have questions about something you would like to donate! We have accepted things such as: paper, art supplies, glue, staples, furniture, gas stamps, etc. If you would like to donate something more specific, we have an Amazon Wishlist containing materials we frequently use. Any small contribution can help make big strides in a Non Profit!
The Taube is always in need of volunteers! We could use help with painting, office work, cleaning, and much more. We try to place volunteers in charge of things that relate to both their skills and likes. We also put out calls for volunteer help during different fundraising events, so keep on the look out for that!
The Taube Gift Shop is featured both in person at our Museum and on our website. We only allow items in the shop that are created by the artist themselves, we do not sell items for others. Our shop is consignment based. Please feel free to reach out to us via phone or email for more details!
