Second Annual NODAK 100 RIDE
Minot Area Century Ride to benefit Taube Museum of Art
Looking for an outdoor event that is both fun and challenging?
The Second Annual NODAK 100, Minot Area Century Ride is just around
the corner, so mark your calendars today! The ride will be held on
Sunday, July 16, 2017, with the choice of multiple route lengths.
From a short route of 26.70 miles by way of Surrey, to the full
Century Route by way of Deering twice!
Rory, from Val’s Cyclery, the ride organizer stated, “Many states have a Century Ride, and we are excited to be able to bring this to our great state for a second annual event! We are pleased to announce the ride will once again benefit our downtown neighbor and local nonprofit organization, the Taube Museum of Art.”
Registration will be held anytime during 6:30 am - 9:00 am Sunday, July 16th in the Hight Construction parking lot located at 21 2nd St NE. This is not a mass start event - riders may start anytime during registration times. Ride will be at your own pace. All riders are required to wear helmets and all traffic laws apply. Riders must be back to the start location by 6:00 pm. Rest stops will be at Surrey Senior Center and Deering Country Store and Café with refreshments available. There will be a SAG vehicle/mechanic available.
Registration is $35 ($36.50 for online registration) and forms are available at Val’s Cyclery, the Taube Museum of Art, online at www.taubemuseum.org or visit www.valscyclery.com for more information. To guarantee a ride T-shirt pre-registration by June 30, 2017 is requested.
Proceeds will support the Taube Museum of Art, a non-profit art organization. With the continuing support of the Minot community we are able to fulfill our mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.
